Greek Honeymoon Overview:
Day 1: Arrive Athens airport. After passport control and picking up your luggage, you will be met by representative of Greek Honeymoon and transferred to your hotel. In the evening at approximately 7:30pm, you will be picked up from your hotel and escorted to dinner in Ancient Plaka featuring Greek folklore dancers. After dinner you make your own way back to the hotel or enjoy the evening in Athens.
Day 2: Early wake up call, and after having breakfast at your hotel depart on a half-day tour of Athens with an English-speaking tour guide. You will visit the Panathinaikon stadium, the Acropolis hill and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the parliament house located in Constitution Square. This day tour features various government building and many elegant structures of the 19th century, as well as the Catholic Church, the Academy, university and the National library. Your tour will end at the new Acropolis museum (not available on Mondays). The rest of the day spent at leisure to enjoy Athens and the sights.
Day 3: Today you will be transferred to the airport for a quick flight to the beautiful whitewashed island of Mykonos. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a glorious, fun-filled three-night stay. This evening you will enjoy a complimentary a la carte dinner (drinks not included) at the hotel’s Veranda restaurant, offering you a romantic and intimate setting with the most magnificent sunset views.
Day 4: Your day is at leisure in Mykonos to do as you please. You can enjoy the Greek sun on one of the various beaches of the island, or you can choose to explore the island with a small jeep or scooter. Our Athens office is at your service to advise where you can visit, play or eat. We can also assist you with any optional tours or adventures.
Day 5: Your day is at leisure in Mykonos to do as you please. Consider visit Mykonos town and its world famous windmills. We highly recommend a Greek Island hop to the sacred island of Delos located only a short boat ride away.
Day 6: Today you will sail the Aegean Sea by high speed ferry to the volcanic island of Santorini, one of the most unique places in the world. The island will greet you with its striking cliffs and legendary tales. A Homeric representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Oia, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of breathtaking beauty.
Day 7: Your day is at leisure in Santorini. Santorini is world famous for its sunsets. Pick one of the famous volcanic beaches for a swim and make your way back to the town of Oia to enjoy the sunset that many chase from around the world.
Day 8: Your day is at leisure in Santorini. Simply relax and take it all in or venture to the famed ruins of Akrotiri that many archaeologists believe is the famed lost city of Atlantis.
Day 9: After having your breakfast check out of the hotel and your representative will transfer you to the airport for your flight back to Athens so that you can connect to your flight back home.
