At the harbor, go to Bourtzi, a forested peninsula and the visit old Venetian castle where you may enjoy an open-air theatre performance. Your stay will not be complete without seeing the house of the famous Greek author Alexandros Papadiamantis, now a museum exhibiting his personal belongings, writings and folklore items.
When night falls, it’s time for the town of Skiathos. Buzzing with entertainment, bars, cafes and traditional tavernas. Strolling along Papadiamantis Streeet you get the cosmopolitan feeling as most shops and boutiques are there.
But, if you are looking for something more quiet and less crowded then go to Old Port cobbled steets, filled with authentic Greek tavernas and music.
If your honeymoon days allow you the time, you should go on a day cruise and sail to Alonissos or Skopelos which are very close.
