The island of Paros, located at the heart of the Cyclades, is one of the most popular holiday destination in Greece. The island offers a wide range of activities to satisfy the needs of all visitors.

In addition the excellent wind conditions ‘meltemi’ makes it top choice for surfers of any kind. No wonder the Professional Windsurfers Association holds its annual race in Chryssi Akti. There are plenty of surfing clubs on many beaches providing full equipment to rent or buy, and professional instructions for all levels, from beginners to more advanced surfers.
If you are an extreme sport lover then head for Pounda Beach. Kiteboarding combines the thrill and excitement of windsurfing, wakeboarding, surfing, skiing and even paragliding. The long sandy beach allows you to enjoy your sport without any hazardous obstacles, no wonder it has become an international kiteboarding location.
Of course there is more beauty underwater, caves, rocky formations, rare species of fish all awaiting for you to explore. At Nea Chryssi Akti, Santa Maria and Pounda you can enjoy scuba diving or just snorkeling. Training is also available.
